Timothy Horne

Boyd Watterson Head of Global Real Estate

Timothy O. Horne is Head of the Boyd Watterson real estate division and of the Denver, Colorado office. Together with the Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for the development and implementation of the long-term strategic and annual business plans. In his role as leader of the real estate division, Tim leverages the Boyd platform for cohesiveness, efficiency, and results. He manages the entire real estate team, the GSA focused open-end real estate fund, the maintenance and continued growth of the company’s real estate investment footprint and develops and maintains key strategic relationships. Tim provides senior level support and guidance across the company, personifying and maintaining Boyd Watterson culture and values.

Tim’s resume includes a long tenure with the General Services Administration where, prior to joining Boyd Watterson in February of 2021, he was Regional Commissioner of the Public Buildings Service for GSA’s Region 8 and Acting Administrator of GSA. His extensive career in the government space provides a solid framework for his contribution to Boyd’s vast government leased real estate portfolios.

Casey Wendeln

Boyd Watterson Co-Deputy CIO, Real Estate

Casey F. Wendeln is Co-Deputy Chief Investment Officer of the Real Estate division. He serves as the primary portfolio manager for the Boyd Watterson state and local government focused real estate fund and a secondary portfolio manager for the Boyd Waterson GSA focused open-end real estate fund. In these roles, he is responsible for the monitoring and oversight of all activities of the funds, including acquisition and disposition activity, asset management and leasing, balance sheet and capital markets activities, and client relations and reporting. Casey is the Co-Head of Asset Management and Head of the Boyd Watterson Chicago office. He provides oversight for the LIFE fund and separate account activities. In addition, Casey is a member of the Real Estate Investment Committee, Allocation Committee, Finance Committee, and chairs the Underwriting Committee.

Casey began his career with the company in 2009 and was an instrumental part of building the Real Estate Investment team and its investment vehicles from the ground up. Prior to joining Boyd Watterson, Casey was an Associate in the Capital Markets Group at Jones Lang LaSalle in Chicago, working on $2.4 billion in investment sales of office, industrial, and retail properties nationwide.

Michael Ostro

UBP Head of Investor Relations – Private Markets

Michael Ostro, who joined UBP in 2016, is the Head of Investor Relations for UBP’s Private Markets Group (PMG), where he oversees the global distribution of private market solutions for UBP’s clients. Having joined PMG as an investment specialist, Michael supported the growth of UBP’s private market franchise across EMEA and, from 2022, Asia.

Prior to joining the UBP PMG, Michael was an Investment Analyst on the trading desk of a multi-family office in London, ACPI Investment Managers (acquired by UBP), from 2016 to 2018. Before beginning his career in finance, he spearheaded the retail expansion of his family business, Ostro Minerals, from 2010 to 2016.

Michael graduated with Distinction from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration in 2015 and held a place on the University Dean’s List for six semesters.
